Gold Hill sits at 5660 Vineyard Lane, off Cold Springs Road between Placerville and Coloma — the stretch of foothill country where the Gold Rush started. The tasting room deck looks out over the vines to the American River canyon, with Mt. Murphy topping the scenery.
Our vineyard grows eleven varietals, from Rhône to Bordeaux, red and white, finished with a zinfandel port for after dinner. Our brewery founded in 2000 offers 6 ales made on site in traditional styles. Come sample both and take in the breathtaking views.
Open Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Appointments are accepted for other days.

★★★★★ A must visit. The whole portfolio of estate wines was amazing. The Cab Franc is a must try. The beers are worth a visit as well. All of this complimented by amazing views. Take advantage of walking down to the pond and pavilion.
